Qantas Airlines commissioned mobile agency, Mnet, to create a tailored news and content portal with the primary objective of delivering live flight information to customers. I led the concept development and UX of the portal, which aimed to deliver a personalised experience to the user across mobile and tablet.
On tablet, we adopted a horizontal scrolling page, which enabled the user to explore content while a fixed module kept important flight information and live updates at the top of the screen.
Across all devices, content was personalised using the customer's account information. For example, the customer's name or frequent flyer history was pulled into the experience where relevant to engage the user.
